To facilitate fast and reliable flow of information within the real estate community in Chicagoland.

Motivation for starting LocateRE.com

The idea for LocateRE.com was originally developed by Chirag Patel (co-founder), who as a real estate investor got frustrated time and again due to the lack of fast and reliable communication among the real estate community. He teamed up with Hari Kusumakar (co-founder) and both of them undertook the task of networking everybody involved in real estate in Chicagoland through an electronic medium. As a result of this endeavor, LocateRE.com was launched on Sept 14th, 2005 and has been a great success ever since.

About the Founders

Chirag Patel,

is a real estate investor with a focus on foreclosures, rehabbing and wholesaling in the residential market throughout Chicagoland. He also likes to get involved in commercial real estate if the numbers are right. His academic background is in software engineering.

Hari Kusumakar,

is an active wholesaler and rehabber in the south side and south suburbs of Chicago. He has been an active real estate investor for the last two years and have been enjoying it ever since. His academic background is in engineering too.
